PRINT READING

This class provides instruction and practice in interpreting construction project prints and their specifications. Commercial buildings, highways, bridges, and residential print reading projects are covered in their various print views. Legends and acronyms are discussed for clear interpretations. Project specifications are related to each print reading project to distinguish product selection and the submittal process for approvals from architects, engineering firms, and project owners. Shop drawings are discussed, as are ways to implement project changes if necessary.
