MSHA REFRESHER COURSE

The Mine Safety and Health Act requires certification training under the Federal Mine Safety and Health Administration regulations for individuals working at underground and surface mines. This training consists of an initial 24-hour hazard awareness class and an 8-hour annual refresher for those who work on mine property. Employees requiring this training would be those working at quarries, Portland cement manufacturing facilities, cement batch plants, and any surface mines where aggregates are extracted for the construction industry.
