LINE & GRADE

The 40-hour Line and Grade course provides the necessary skills for maintaining elevation and alignment control of heavy and civil construction activities.  The following topics are covered: transferring grade points, using various measurement systems, construction lines using staking protocols, measurement techniques and instrument use, plan views, slope expression, construction referencing systems, and roadway slopes.  An average math skill level is recommended.
